Just the other day I was thinking about the significance of being the 44th President and starting paying attention to the numerological message of 44. In turn that led me to do the same regarding the 43rd President and I found the information really interesting.
So here we go…the number 43 represents war, strife and disharmony because the confinement of 4 does not like the expression of 3 and vice versa. The number 43 has the ability to be expressed (4+3) as a 7 which is introspection and wisdom; however the number 43 also has the challenge (4-3) of 1 which is to learn to get along well with others without bullying or being extremely willful. In my opinion the 43rd President, George Bush, got stuck and entangled in the challenge of 1, unable to lead with a balanced use of his will which led to the expression of 43 as strife and disharmony instead of wisdom.
In contrast 44 is considered to be a master builder number ( as are 11, 22, 33, etc) here we have work, the building of structure, the building of foundations and dealing with extreme limitations on a massive scale. The number 44 has the ability to be expressed as (4+4) 8 which is power, authority, financial gains and success in all material matters; however the number 44 also has the challenge (4-4) of zero which is the need to pay attention to the entire span of challenges.
I think you would agree that the above numerological description for the 44th Presidency certainly sums up the situation. Let us visualize first and most importantly ourselves and then Barack Obama along with the current administration as easily dealing with all the challenges so that the positive expression of 8 manifests and we are raised up in a state of balanced prosperity and self-empowerment.
Are you seeing it???

This morning I became aware of a delicious perfume-like aroma and it brought me back to the reality that I was drinking a glass of water. The water had a lemon wedge in it and I could not believe how fantastic that scent was….I almost missed it!!!
With the memory of the lemon aroma in my mind I left my house and went for my morning walk and just had to savour the delightful scent of several wonderful roses along the way. As I walked I realized that I was carrying a lot of muscular tension in my body. It came to me that everyone responds to stress in a different way depending on their energetic makeup.
There are basically three different kinds of response to stress either physical, emotional or mental. Some people, like myself, physically brace themselves as a protection..feeling that if they are not tense they are not prepared for what might happen. It made me giggle to think that I had developed that pattern. Others distance themselves from their emotions and other people because they feel that is the only way they can survive the intensity of their feelings. The rest become rigid in their ideas and thoughts so that it is impossible to change their opinions or minds about anything because they seek safety in stubbornness of thought.
Thank you lemon wedge for triggering this realization!!

I have had cats as pets since I was 12 years old but it was only in the past couple of years that I became aware of how important it is to choose the right cat litter. For years I bought the kind of litter that clumps. Then one day my vet mentioned to me that not only does it clump in the litter box but also in the cat’s intestines. In other words when the cat leaves the litter box and begins to wash itself the particles of the litter are licked off the paws, swallowed and accumulate in the intestines in clumps ( see here for more information). Once I knew this I was on a mission to find a good cat litter.
Now mind you when I say good it has to satisfy my requirements also, those being, doesn’t track, easy to clean, biodegradable, sustainable and most importantly absorbs odor. So first I tried “Feline Pine” it sounded good. It’s made from pine which is biogradable, sustainable and it absorbs odors. However it comes in small cylindrical pieces and it not very comfortable to walk on if you are a cat. If you are a cat lover and/or owner ( which you probably are if you are reading this) you know that cats hate change and litter change is viewed with great skepticism and disdain. When my cats got into the litter box filled with “Feline Pine” they kept lifting their feet up and when they spotted me looked at me like I had obviously lost my mind. I found it difficult to clean this litter and then the cats decided they had had enough of it and began to go to the bathroom just outside the litter box..charming! So that put an end to “Feline Pine”. I understand that they have now come out with a clumping version of the Feline Pine and this I have not tried.
My vet suggested I use a clay litter. Initially I used the Safeway brand (unscented) and mixed in baking soda. But it tracks and doesn’t do a very good job of controlling the odor and it is not biodegradable, doesn’t clump and it is not sustainable. Next I started using Hartz clay litter. This is better than the Safeway brand but the issue mentioned before still apply. Then I happened to read several articles about the dangers of clay litters as written here.
I am now pleased to announce that I think I have found my dream litter!!! And the cats like it too!!. It is “Swheat Scoop” natural wheat litter. It clumps, you can flush it!, it absorbs odor beautifully, it’s biodegradable and sustainable. No clay, chemicals or fragrances and it was a breeze to switch to this litter. For more details on this great product see here.
